For the launch of a new product (a pre-cut sandwich bread), Barilla decided to promote in over a four months period in several supermarkets all over Italy. Piano B, the italian advertising agency managing the campaign, asked up to build an application for the occasion.
This application was installed on several iPads so that attendants would be able to interact with the product, creating their own sandwich simply dragging ingredients into the product. Then, depending on the user's ingredients choice, the app would return a "taste profile", suggesting on of Barilla's featured sandwich recipes. In addition to this, in order to receive a free sample of the product, the user had to complete a lead generation form.
We also provide the client with a web control panel to manage all the data generated from the lead generation form.
